• Complex: bread, rice, pasta, beans and other vegetables

• Simple: fruits, milk, table sugar Fats-body needs some, keep skin healthy Vitamins-fight disease, regulate body functions Minerals- help body grow, calcium helps build teeth

and bones Water- 45%-75% of body weight, carries nutrients

around the body, helps digestion, removes waste and cools you off

Proteins- Building blocks your body needs for growthfish, chicken, beef, eggs, milk

Eating healthful foods can help you be healthy. You should eat foods that provide you with plenty of nutrients and avoid foods with too much sugar , salt and fat.
