Geometric Mean- The positive square root of the product of two positive numbers

Trigonometric Ratio – a ratio of two sides of a right triangle.

Sine – the ratio of the length of the leg opposite the angle to the length of the hypotenuse.

Cosine – the ratio of the length of the leg adjacent to the angle to the length of the hypotenuse.

Tangent – the ratio of the length of the leg opposite the angle to the length of the leg adjacent to the angle.

Angle of elevation – the angle formed by a horizontal line and a line of sight to a point above the line.

Angle of depression – the angle formed by a horizontal line and a line of sight to a point below the line.

Component form – lists the horizontal and vertical change from the initial point to the terminal point of a vector.

Magnitude – the length of a vector

Direction – the angle that the vector makes with a horizontal line.

Equal vectors – vectors that have the same magnitude and the same direction.

Parallel vectors – two vectors that have the same direction or of they have opposite directions.

Resultant vector – the vector that represents the sum of two given vectors.
