The objective •To strengthen Government schools that are providing formal education in rural areas in India.

The Goal•Increase the student enrolment.•Retention rate, incorporate good teaching •Learning techniques in government schools

DID IT COST THE SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR ANYTHING TO PURSUE THE VENTURE?

The ‘Bighelp’ are in need of people to sponsor a child to avoid them from dropping out of school.

The ‘Bighelp’ requires people to sponsor an amount of $1500 of fund to improve the school they are helping.

WHAT WAS THE SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR HOPING TO ACHIEVE?

o The ‘Bighelp’ wants to make the government school an interesting place.

o The ‘Bighelp’ “Talent Test” program wants to discover their hidden talent.

(SOCIAL): HOW ARE YOU AFFECTED BY THE SITUATION OF PEOPLE AROUND YOU?

After I completed my research , I found out that I ’m much more fortunate than the cleaners in our school . They did not have any education when they were young .

I real ized that education makes a great difference to the l ives of people around me .

It also determines the kind of people I social ize with . Most of my fr iends speak and write English, while the cleaners have the same level of education .

(EMOTIONAL): WHAT ASPECT OF THE SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR DID YOU FIND MOST INSPIRING?

I ’m surprised that the group ‘BigH elp’ ,can persevere so long just to help the poor children .

I find that their persevering spirit is most inspiring .

 WOULD YOU LEAVE FAMILIAR AND COMFORTABLE SURROUNDINGS TO HELP OTHERS?

• Absolutely.• Other people need my help as well.• I find pleasure in knowing that I ’ve

made a difference.• I f we don’t take the initiative to do

something about the problem, no one else will.

-LACK OF LITERACY.-CAUSES UNEMPLOYMENT TO THEIR FUTURE LIFE.-CHILDHOOD WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE.-NO CLEAN FOOD TO EAT.-NO MONEY TO GET DAILY NECESSITIES.

CHANGES AFTER HELP BY SOCIETY WORKERS

• Books are gained and knowledge are learn.

• Easier to get job in their future working l ife.

• Able to communicate easier with other peoples in other countries.

DIFFICULT SITUATION FACED BY CHILDREN • No books to gain knowledge from.

• No knowledge gain during their young age causes them not to communicate with other people easily.

• Lack of l i teracy.

Every bit of action makes a difference .Responsibil ity is needed to complete

everything we do.Books can be donated to the poor children

and teachers can give free lessons to the children.
