Replace bean hopper in position above grinder and reinstall retaining screw.
01
Step 15: Reinstall bean hopper
SERVICE TASKS
Pro Tip: Be sure the grinder soft ring is placed flat and evenly on top of the grinder inlet before reinstalling the bean hopper. A missing or misaligned soft ring will prevent sealing of the hopper to the grinder and cause a large mess inside the dispenser.
Open bean gate to restore flow (push in for some models, pull out for others).

29
CL & PSL50 SeriesREASSEMBLY
Step 16: Reinstall air channel and filters
Replace the air filter(s) back onto the red air channel.
Fit the air channel back into its housing, ensuring the cut-outs align with the mixer steam trap(s).
01
Note:The air channel and filters are held in place by the mixers/steam traps. The air channel must be correctly and fully reinstalled to allow the mixers/steam traps to be reinstalled correctly.
i
Pro Tip: The easiest way to ensure that the air channel is reinstalled correctly is to make sure that the cut-outs are facing out toward the front of the dispenser and downwards, and generally centred over the mixer locations.
02
30
CL & PSL50 SeriesREASSEMBLY
Step 17: Reinstall spout adaptor, mixers, Black Coffee Kit
Replace steam cover back onto mixer body.
Hold red lever at 7:00 (unlocked) position and fit mixer body into mixer motor/housing (A), ensure retaining tabs and steam extractor align correctly and seat fully. Then secure mixer in place by rotating it down to 6:00 (locked) position (B).
For dispensers with Black Coffee Kit replace cover (A), connect tube to stem at the back of vessel (B), then clip vessel into bracket (C).
02 04
Align whipper disc to mixer shaft and slid it into place until it ‘clicks’. (When correctly installed approx. 1mm of shaft should extend past front of the disc).
01 03
Note:The whipper disc must align with the flat edge on the mixer shaft when reinstalling.
i
i
Pro Tip: In most cases if a mixer is very difficult to fully seat in order to lock it in place the issue is that the steam trap is not properly aligned to the air channel and/or the extractor stem, or the red locking lever is not being held at the 7:00 position, thus causing it to interfere with the mixer housing.
To resolve any of these situations, simply remove the mixer, check all alignments (steam trap, air channel, extractor stem and red locking lever) and try reinstalling it again.
