addition,itmustnotbesubjecttoanysharpimpactorseveretemperaturefluctuationwhichmayalsocauseastresspointtodevelopintheglass.• Toughenedglassisphysicallyandthermallysignificantlystrongerthanstandardglass.Duringthetougheningprocessthestressescontained

withinanyglassarebalancedsoifintheunlikelyeventsituationanyoftheaboveoccursandtheglassbreaks,theglasswillshattersafelyintosmallthumbnailsizedbluntfragments.

Itisstronglyrecommendedtheproductisfittedonatiledsurfaceorsimilarwaterproofsurface.11. Itisstronglyrecommendedthewallsaretiledandgroutedbeforetheproductisinstalled.12. Ifthewallsand/orthetrayarenotlevelyouwillnotachievemaximumadjustmentoftheproduct.13. Picturesusedareforillustrationpurposesonly,productdesignsmayalterslightlyasaresultofcontinuingproductdevelopment.14. WedonotstipulatewheretheEuropeanStandardKiteMarkshouldbepositionedontheglasswhenbeingfactoryassembled.15. Step 1 - preperation

1. EnsuretheTrayiscompletelylevelonallsidesusingaSpiritLevel.• the bubble should be in the centre of the 2 lines on the Spirit Level.

2. CheckthatthereisnomovementintheTraybystandinginit.3. Fillthetraywithwatertocheckallplumbingforleaks.

• note: please ensure that the tray is installed as per Manufacturers’ Instructions.4. ThetrayshouldbefullysealedalongthetiledwallspriortoinstallationwithaBathroomSealant(not

supplied).5. PriortocommencinginstallationoftheEnclosureandoncethesealanthasset,spraytheshowerhandset

aroundalljointstocheckforleaks.• allow 24 hours for the Bathroom Sealant to fully cure.

Step2-FittingtheWallProfiles

1. Placebothwallprofiles15mminfromtheoutsideofthetray.Makesurethatbothwallprofilesarecom-pletelyverticalusingaspiritlevelandmarkthewallthroughtheslotswithapencil.

2. Drillthewallwitha6mmMasonryDrillBit(notsupplied)wheretheWallProfilesaretobepositioned.FittheWallPlugssupplied(ifgoingintoabrickorblockwall).Ifgoingintoaplasterboardwallyouwillneedtopurchaseappropriatewallfixings.WipeclearalldebrisfromtheTraybeforereferringtothenextstage.

3. WherebothWallProfilesaretobepositionedontheTray,placeabeadofBathroomSealant(notsupplied)thewidthoftheWallProfilealongthetiledwall.ScrewtheWallProfilestothewallwith40mmScrews(supplied).DonotovertightenthescrewsintotheWallProfilesasthiswillmisshapetheWallProfile.En-suretheWallProfilesstaycompletelyverticalthroughoutthisprocedureusingaSpiritLevel.• NosealantshouldbepresentbetweentheWallProfilesandthetiledwallsverticallypriortoscrewfixing.

4. SealthegapbetweentheTrayandWallProfileswithaBathroomSealant(notsupplied).• failure to carry out this procedure correctly can result in serious water damage and is not covered by the

Guarantee.

Step 3 - fixed panels and Doors

1. PushtheFixedPanelsintothewallprofilesmakingcertainthattheyarethecorrectway.• the Channel for the wheel bearings must face inward towards the shower.

2. SlidetheDoorsintotheFixedPanelsbylocatingthewheelbearingintothechannels.• the handle which houses the magnet must face and slide towards the corner of the tray.

3. PlacetheCornerCapsovertheendsofthehorizontalrails,makesurethatthehorizontalrailsbuttuptothecornercaps.Iftheclearinfillsealfittedtothehorizontalrailoverlapsitmustbetrimmedbacklevel.• IMpoRtant: the horizontal rails on the fixed panels can be shortened, please see Step 6 for details.

4. Usingthe2.5mmdrillbit(supplied)securetheCornerCapsinplacebydrillingthroughtheholeintothehorizontalrailsmakingsurethatthedrillpassesthroughonealuminiumlegonly.

5. Withthe9mmscrews(supplied)screwtheCornerCapsintoplace,ensureallpartsarebutteduptogether.

Step 4 - fixing the Enclosure

1. Positiontheenclosuresothatitisequallyplacedinthewallprofiles.Checkthatthereisanequalspacebetweentheoutsideedgeofthetrayandtheenclosure.

2. WithaspiritlevelensurethebothFixedPanelsarecompletelyvertical.Drillthreeholesusingthe2.5mmdrillbit(supplied)intoeachWallProfile.Positiontheholesapproximately100mmfromtopandbottomandtheotherinthecentre.• PleaseensurethatthewallprofilesoverlaptheFixedPanelsbyaminimumof5mm.

3. Placethebasecapsontothe9mmscrews(supplied)andscrewfixtheFixedPanelstotheWallProfiles.4. Pushfitthecovercapsoverthe9mmscrews.

Step5-DoorAdjustment&Sealing

1. Withtheenclosurefixedintoplaceslidethedoorstogether,ifthedoorsdon’tmeetfullydownthefulllengththenloosenthebearingscrewsinboththetopandbottomdoorhangerssothattheycanbeadjusted.

2. Withthescrewsloosemovethedoor(s)aboutuntilthedoorsmeetfullyallthewaydownwhenclosedandretightenthebearingscrews.

3. Sealbothsidesofthewallprofilesverticallyinsideandoutsidewheretheymeetthetiledwalls4. Fullysealthebaseoftheenclosuretothetopofthetrayfromwalltowallontheoutsideonly.

• IMpoRtant: failure to follow steps 3 and 4 may result in serious water damage and is not covered under the terms of the guarantee.

• please allow at least 24 hours for the sealant to fully cure prior to using the enclosure.5. PlacetheBrandingBadgeonaprominentnonemovingpartofaluminiumtocompletetheinstallation.

Step 6 - Cutting the Horizontal Rails

1. PlacetheFixedPanelsintopositionandmarklightlywithapencilwheretheyneedtobecut.Youmustensurethatequallengthsarecutfromboththetopandbottomrails.• placing a piece of masking tape over the ends of the horizontal rails not only helps to protect the rail but

the pencil line will be seen more clearly.2. Usingahacksawverycarefullycutthealuminiumrailstolengthandremoveanyburrsandsharpedges.

• Remove the masking tape after the rails have been cut to length.• IMpoRtant: Care must be taken when cutting the rails to size as not to damage the framework. Damage

which occurs during cutting of the rails will not be covered by the guarantee.3. PleasegobacktoStep3andcontinuetheinstallation.

Leaking 1. CheckthattheinsidegapbetweentheTrayandWallprofileshasbeensealedcorrectly.2. Ensurethetrayissealedalongthetiledwallspriortoinstallation.3. Iftheinsidejointbetweentheenclosureandthetraytopissealed,thiswillcause

leakage-sealantmustberemoved.4. Ensurethewallprofilesonthetiledwallsaresealedbothverticallyinsideandoutside.5. Ensurethejointbetweentheenclosureandtraytopissealed.

Important: this enclosure should be water tested conforming to BS En 14428

Some important information to help you Maintain your product.Thefollowinginformationisallyouneedtokeepyourproductlookingnew.

Cleanyourproductusingamilddetergentdilutedinwaterandthenpolishedoffusingasoftcloth.Ifyouliveinahardwaterarea,periodicallycleanyourproductusinga50/50solutionofwhitevinegarandwater.Thesolutionshouldbeleftontheenclosureforapproximately5minutesthenrinsedoffusingwarmwater.Thismethodofcleaningshouldremovelimescaleresidue.

Simple MaintenanceOurproductsaregenerallymaintenancefree,howeveritmaybenecessarytolubricatewheelassembliesandothermovingpartsfromtimetotime.

Itisstronglyrecommendedthataqualitysiliconesprayisused.

a list of Don’t’s:1. Don’tuseacidicbasedproductswhichareunsuitableforcleaningenamelsurfaces.2. Don’tuseabrasivecleanersorcleanersusingbleachorsolvents,theseproductswilladverselyaffectthefinishof
