The ads, made by McCann-Er-ickson, feature a new corporateslogan of 'wings' - designed toshow how Motorola products freepeople to communicate whereverthey are.

Courts primesagencies formedia reviewFurniture retailer Courts is intalks with several agencies with aview to reviewing its £12.9m me-dia buying and planning business.

Courts, which recently put itscreative account with COP underreview, has bought its mediathrough TMD Carat for the pastfour years.

One insider hinted that Courtscould be looking to place all itscreative and media spend underone roof.

Courts marketing directorChris Coote said: "Although weare very happy with our relation-ship with TMD, we are talking toagencies for our creative pitchwhich can also offer us media, sowe may well review in the nearfuture. "

Laurence Janes, new businessdirector at TMD, commented:"TMD has held the Courts busi-ness for some time and has anexcellent relationship with theclient. We do not expect a review."

The agencies which have beeninvited to pitch for Courts' cre-ative business include BartleBogle Hegarty, Lowe Howard-Spink and incumbent COP.

It is thought that the ad reviewwill mean the end for BruceForsyth, who has fronted Courts'ads for three years .

Hendersen will report to top mar-keter Simon Waugh, and will be re-sponsible for all marketing activityat Centrica and its divisions.

The move comes as British Gascontinues to defend its share ofthe gas market in the face ofderegulation.

Following Waugh's appointmentas group marketing and financialservices director last autumn, thecompany has vastly increased its in-vestment in brand marketing.

Hendersen is expected to takeup her new role next month. Sheis currently marketing director atBritish Gas Energy Centres, an-other part of Cent rica.
