• Music videos became important marketing media for bands.

The CONSUMER ACCESSIBLITY

• More convenient to obtain recorded music at a reasonably inexpensive cost.

• Songs can be downloaded, stored, carried and shared on devices portable and small enough to fit in a purse or pocket.

• Made music available to the mass of consumers who might not have had access to live concert performances.

• Allowed users to not only create and produce their own music, but to broadcast it as well.
