•Advanced firewall and security device load balancing:IncreasesfirewallandperimetersecurityperformancebydistributingInternettrafficloadsacrossmultiplefirewallandotherperimetersecurityappliances.Thisapproachovercomesscalabilitylimitations,increasesthroughput,andimprovesresiliencybyeliminatingperimetersecuritydevices—suchasfirewalls,anti-virusgateways,VPNdevices,andintrusionappliances—assinglepointsoffailure.

•Transparent Cache Switching (TCS):BalancesWebtrafficacrossmultiplecaches,eliminatingtheneedtoconfigureeachclientbrowser,improvingInternetresponsetime,decreasingWANaccesscosts,andincreasingoverallWebcachingsolutionresiliency.ServerIronADXswitchesimproveserviceavailabilitybyimplementingcachehealthchecking,redirectingclientrequeststothenextavailablecacheserverordirectlytotheoriginserverintheeventofacacheorserverfarmfailure.
