Exam Advice
Before the Exam - preparation: 1) Bring all necessary equipment into the exam, e.g black pen(s), pencil, rubber, ruler, calculator (as advised.) 2) Do NOT bring a mobile phone/ iPod into the exam. If done accidentally, it must be handed in before the exam starts. 3) Drink-bottles must be transparent, with labels removed. 4) Pencil-cases must be transparent. During the Exam: 1) Face the front at all times. No talking. No turning round. No attempt to make eye-contact. 2) Read the instructions on the front of both the question paper and the answer paper, eg where it instructs you to write your answer in the space provided, not on extra paper. 3) Recommend that candidates read the whole paper before starting. There should be enough time allowed for this. It is not a race ! There are no marks for finishing early ! 4) If you need the attention of an Invigilator, raise your hand fully, so you can be seen. 5) You must stay in the Exam until the end of the specified time. Use any time at the end to check, correct, and improve your work. (Do NOT write on your desk or your hand.)
