Takeninaschildren,witchersaresubjectedtointensealchemicalprocesses,consumptionofmutageniccompounds,and

relentlessphysicalandmagicaltraining.Theendresultisamonsterslayerforhire.Permanentresultsofmutationssharedbyallwitchersinclude:• Sterility• Cat-likeeyesgrantingacutenightvision-witcherscanconstricttheirpupilstoseein

blindinglightoropenthemtoseeinnearpitchdarkness.• Resistancetodisease(whichfunctionsinmostcasesascompleteimmunity)anda

WitcherSensesYouhavelowlightvisionandyourproficiencybonusisdoubledforInvestigationandPerception.

BattleMeditationStartingat2ndlevel,youtreatshortrestsasyouwouldalongrest.

AlchemyStartingat3rdlevel,yougaintheabilitytocreatealchemicalconcoctionsforyoursword,givingyouadvantageonyourattackrollsagainstaspecificcreature.Tocreatethesolution,youmustfirstharvestthecreature’sorgans,andthenspend1goldpieceperthecreature’shitdicetogatherthenecessaryingredients.Newsolutionsrequireadaytoprepare,afterwhichtimeyoumayenhanceyourweaponsafterashortrest.Youmayonlyenhanceyourweaponswithonesolutionatatime.Thesolutiondissipatesafteraday.AdvancedAlchemy:At9thlevel,chooseanycreaturewith9hitdiceorlessthatyouhaveharvested.Againstthecreature,youhaveadvantageonyourattackrolls.SuperiorAlchemy:At18thlevel,chooseonecreaturetype.Againstcreaturesofthattypewith18hitdiceorlessthatyouhaveharvested,youhaveadvantageonyourattackrolls.

SIGNSStartingat3rdlevel,youlearntouseSigns,orglyphs,tocreateavarietyofmagicaleffects.SignsworklikeCantrips,inthatthereisnolimittohowmanyyoucancastperday.

CombatCastingIncombat,youmustfocusontheSignyouwishtouseforthetimerequired.Youmaynotattackortakeanyotheractionsduringthisperiod.Ifyoutakedamageorsufferanyadverseeffectwhileyouarefocusing,youloseyourfocusandmustbeginagainatthestartofthefollowinground.YouuseyourWisdommodifierwhensettingthesavingthrowDCforawitchersign.SignsaveDC=8+yourproficiencybonus+yourWisdommodifier.

At17thlevel,theAxiisigncanbeusedasthespellDominatePerson.Youattempttobeguileahumanoidthatyoucanseewithinrange.ItmustsucceedonaWisdomsavingthroworbecharmedbyyoufortheduration.Ifyouorcreaturesthatarefriendlytoyouarefightingit,ithasadvantageonthesavingthrow.Whilethetargetischarmed,youhaveatelepathiclinkwithitaslongasthetwoofyouareonthesameplaneofexistence.Youcanusethistelepathiclinktoissuecommandstothecreaturewhileyouareconscious(noactionrequired),whichitdoesitsbesttoobey.Youcanspecifyasimpleandgeneralcourseofaction,suchas“Attackthatcreature,”“Runoverthere,”or“Fetchthatobject.”Ifthecreaturecompletestheorderanddoesn’treceivefurtherdirectionfromyou,itdefendsandpreservesitselftothebestofitsability.Youcanuseyouractiontotaketotalandprecisecontrolofthetarget.Untiltheendofyournextturn,thecreaturetakesonlytheactionsyouchoose,anddoesn’tdoanythingthatyoudon’tallowittodo.Duringthistimeyoucanalsocausethecreaturetouseareaction,butthisrequiresyoutouseyourownreactionaswell.Eachtimethetargettakesdamage,itmakesanewWisdomsavingthrowagainstthespell.Ifthesavingthrowsucceeds,thespellends.
