IMPORTANT DATES

• FALL SESSION I REMINDERS

• Monday November 24th- Registration opens for Spring I and II sessions. *Priority given to credits completed. Ex C6 and C7 students will likely have earlier registration date appointments

• Nov 27th – Nov 30th: College closed for Thanksgiving holiday

• Sunday December 7th- Last day of Fall Session I classes

• Dec 9th – Dec 15th: Final Examinations

• Dec 19th- Grades will begin being added to CUNY First

• Dec 24th-25th, Dec 31st- College Closed

FALL SESSION II

• SESSION II BEGINS!!!!

• Jan 5th- First day of Weekday Classes for FA II (Winter Session)

• Jan 7th- Last day to drop a class w/o “WD” grade

• Make sure that you are REGISTERED for at least 1-2 classes…CLASSES ARE FILLING QUICKLY!!!

• You must RE-ENROLL in any failed remedial for Fall Session II unless specified otherwise by your Advisor

2) ASAP applicants must have a 3.5 GPA and have completed 12 credits

at LaGuardia Community College. Please check and verify that students

meet these requirements prior to application submission.3) During enrollment periods when ASAP pays for PTK membership fees,

Start by looking at:

Types of jobs/careers you’d like to achieve. Hint: ASAP has a very special person to help you figure this out.

Research which schools you would like to apply/attend post LaGuardia that fit your education/career goal(s): Start from the highest degree needed and go backwards. Ex- if you plan on getting a master’s degree for Physician Assistant, look at the prerequisites for that particular major, and plan accordingly.
