• The liquid that does the dissolving e.g water

Solution

• Solute and solvent mixed together • e.g. sweet tea

Soluble

• Means something will dissolve

• Copper sulphate is soluble in water

• but gloss paint is insoluble in water

Sound

• Is a form of energy caused by vibrations

• Measured in decibels

• Needs a medium to travel through

• Echo is reflected sound

• Speed = Distance
