Off-Grid Residential Power and Refrigeration Program
Option for families that are completely off the grid.
Majority of PV systems are skid mounted and are deployed efficiently.
NTUA currently has 260 installed photovoltaic systems-(2015 data)
Currently we are optimistic for an additional 15-20 units this fall.

Off-Grid Residential Power and Refrigeration Program
Past units include 640w PV and 880 PV-wind power systems
In 2010, NTUA introduced a new generation of hybrid systems which include a 1,080w PV array and 400w wind turbine with an Energy Star refrigeration solution
In 2012 , NTUA added 25- 1800W systems to the inventory
Utility rate of $75/month or $100/month depending on electric output.

NTUA supports education
The Navajo Tribal Utility Authority Scholarship Programs offers scholarship opportunities.
NTUA offers internships in the field of engineering, chemistry, and etc.
It is the policy of the NTUA to encourage Navajos to pursue studies that lead to either a bachelor or master degree in fields relating to the multi-service utility industry.
Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence
