- Adjectives describe ________.

- In French, all nouns are either masculine or feminine.

- Adjectives “match” the noun they describe.- If the noun is masculine, the adjective is masculine.- If the noun is feminine, the adjective is feminine.

- If the noun is masculine & PLURAL, the adjective is also.- If the noun is feminine & PLURAL, the adjective is also.

If there is more than one person, the adjective is plural – Generally by adding an “s”

Some adjectives already end in “e” in the masculine – so you don’t have to add an “e” to the feminine form.
