a system which is permanently searching in relevant media sources user or company specific information for accessing it

Advantages more specific (only sources and categories you choose) without additional filtering of articles everyday (or as you set) transparent reports to your e-mail history of reports

Disadvantages not pay free service can catch more than our defined media sources location specific

analysis of internet media sources (media specialist) cover all media events categorization

some programming work (IT - programmers) RSS and non RSS media parsing sometimes source specific article extracting

for SVK media it took approx. 1-2 months implemented sources product approx. 2000 articles daily

Future work

Using article database (after 2-3 years) interface for category, source and date specific task based on

key words

DB should answer the questions of these types: “What has been written about our president before last election?” ”When appear company XXX first time in media?” “Which media write about us in positive / negative way?” …

Conclusion

we design and develop and unique internet media monitoring system

it meets the requirements for media monitoring system (a lot of source to cover almost all media (TV, radio, etc.))

it is fully automatic

actually is running at full operation for clients

there are some possibilities to use historical data from the system to future work
