E Sentry Connect

IRISS are proud to launch our next generation intuitive asset information management system the E Sentry Connect™. E Sentry Connect utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC) contactless Smart Card technology to allow smart phone and tablet devices with NFC to easily access critical inspection parameters relating to the equipment and save up-to-date inspection data directly to the E Sentry Connect tag through a free IRISS Android based App.

How it Works: The system uses the principle of inductive coupling to transfer information between the tag and the device reading the tag. The NFC device powers the operation of the tag so no batteries are required. The E Sentry Connect Tag “wakes up” when the NFC device is near and the tag contains the memory required to store the asset inspection parameters and inspection data that can be erased and re-written as needed.

Operating platforms: The E Sentry Connect Tagging system has been designed to be operated on two distinct platforms. The standalone site based only system allows users free access to the tag and all relevant saved inspection data. Alternately, a licensed cloud based or site server installed system allows historical data back-up and complete access to the current status of all assets utilizing E Sentry Connect tags. The server and cloud based systems allow for easy data sharing with any onsite Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software platform.
