Easy Christmas Cookies Recipe

These easy sugar cookies are easy and versatile. You can add ingredients to makethem new and different depending upon your desires at the time.

Ingredients1 cup softened

butter1 3-ounce package

softened cream cheese

3/4 cup sugar1 egg1 teaspoon vanilla3 cups all-purpose

flour

Step One

Combine all of the ingredients, except the flour, in a large bowl.

Step Two

Using an electricmixer, beat the ingredients until the mixture is creamy.

Step Three

Reduce the speed to lowand begin adding flour, being sure to get the flour incorporated.

Step Four

Wrap the doughwith plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least two hours orovernight.

Step Five

When you’re ready to bake the cookies, preheat the oven to 350 degreesFahrenheit.

Step Six

Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out on a lightly floured surface.

Step Seven

Cut the cookies out and place them on cookie sheet.

Step Eight

Bake themfor 7 to 10 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are lightly brown.

Step Nine

Removethem from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
