IF WE WANT TO BUY SOMETHING WE CAN GO TO A STORE. IN STORES WE FIND VARIOUS PRODUCTS. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE CALLED SELLERS/SALESMEN.

Which products are sold at these stores?

COMERCIO / TRADE

• La actividad de comprar y vender se llama comercio.  Los lugares en donde se compran y se venden los productos se llaman establecimientos comerciales. Las personas que compramos los productos somos los consumidores. 

TYPES OF COMMERCE

• Trade is achieved almost always in commerce establishments.  But also we can purchase things in markets or at fairs.  Other forms of commerce are, for example, the selling by catalog or by internet.

LAS ACTIVIDADES COMERCIALES

• When we go to a stationary store, we can see a variety of products: books, notebooks, pencils, folders , poster board, watercolors, etc.

• All of these products arrive at the store from factories. Therefore, many people are involved in the process before the products are available for us to buy in the store. 

PUBLICISTS AND DISTRIBUTORS

• Los publicistas. Se encargan de hacer campañas publicitarias para que conozcamos los productos y los compremos.   

• Los distribuidores. Se encargan de transportar los productos desde la fábrica hasta la tienda.  The distributors transport the products from the factories to the stores.

DESIGNERS AND DEPENDENTS

• Los escaparatistas. The designers organize the produces so that are appealing to the customer.  They want to draw attention is their items.  

• Los dependientes. Se encargan de atendernos en la tienda y cobrarnos el producto que queremos comprar.

TIPOS DE COMERCIO

Existen muchas tipos de actividades de compra y venta de productos. Así, el comercio puede ser: There are many types of activities to buy and sell products.   Commerce can be:

Small commerce or large department stores

TYPES OF STORES

Small commerce or large department stores: The small neighborhood stores form small commerce while the megastores or supermarkets are the large department stores.

The stores that sell directly to consumers achieve minor commerce.  But there are stores which special and sell only to other stores and not to the consumers, these are for the major.  

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMERCE

National and international commerce.  In national commerce interactions occur within the same country.  In international commerce they occur between distinct country.  

Do you know the clothing storeZARA? While it is a Spanish store, you can buy their clothes all overthe world!

COMMUNICATION

• By path. The old ways of communication.

• Carreteras. Roadways for these vehicles, like cars and motorcycles.

• Vías de tren/Train tracks. by these trains travel.

• Rutas aéreas. Airplane routes.

If we want to move from one place to another we can use different means of transportation: car, train, plane, etc.  Means of transportation also provide communication.  

•Rutas marítimas are boat routes. The boats often load in ports.

LAS COMUNICACIONES EN ANDALUCÍA

• Terrestre. Providences connects via highways.  Moreover, there is a net of roads that connect to a community.  Trains also circle around the  peninsula. 

• Aéreas. Andalucía cuenta con seis aeropuertos. El de Málaga es el que mayor número de vuelos tiene.  

• Marítima. Los puertos andaluces tienen mucha afluencia de barcos, sobre todo el de Algeciras. Marine. The ports of Andalucía are well used by boats.  

LOS MEDIOS DE COMUNICACIÓN. MEANS OF COMMUNICATION.

La prensa.  The paper transmits written information in the form of words and images.  For example, newspapers and magazines.

La radio. The radio transmits information via sound, principally through speaking.  

La televisión. A television transmits visual information and sound, that is to say, with images and sounds.

Internet. The information arrives in computers in the form of text, images and sound.  

TURISM/TOURISM: WHICH TYPE DO YOU SEE BELOW?

Main types of tourism.   No todas las personas 

buscamos lo mismo cuando hacemos turismo. Los tipos de viajes que hacemos dependen de los gustos y aficiones de cada uno.  

TYPES OF TOURISM Turismo de sol y playa. 

Sun and beach tourism:  This is one of the most popular types of tourism.  

Turismo de naturaleza. Tourism in nature:  includes nature walks, skiing, mountaineering etc.

Turismo cultura. Cultural Tourism: When one participates in tourism of this type, they often visit places of historical or artistic interest.  

THE MAIN TOURISIST AREAS IN ANDALUCIA

Costas de Andalucía: The Andalucia coast which extends from Huelva, Cádiz, Málaga, Granada, and Almeria has some of the main tourist spots in Spain.  

Zonas de interior: Andalucía tiene pueblos pintorescos, como Lanjarón, en Granada, Aracena en Huelva o Arcos de la Frontera en Cádiz.
