Magazine for 24 hours. Main idea

Goal: to create during 1 day&night comprehensive magazine, and put pdf-file in net;

Journalists’ flashmob by participants, met for the first time;

Both professionals and bloggers;

Real time work flow under strict deadlines

• The wave of flash mobs in Ukraine laucned – 7 magazines during 3 months

Lessons for journalists:

• Wider publicity;• Work under time pressure;• New contacts• Experience in crowdsourcing;• Getting out of offline boundaries;• Getting out of traditional roles and occupations; • Self-improving;• Convergence of knowledge and opportunities (mean blogger is integrated in journalism process and

learn from professionals vice versa. Both become more media educated)

Lessons for editors

• Search and selection of effective work; • Launching of process within extraordinary

conditons;• Learning crowdsourcing as a tool;• Less time for work;• Getting out online, learning on new/social media

tools;• Publicity for it’s own media outlet: both print and

online resources

Lessons for bloggers:

• Publicity of her/his blog and brand; • Experience of team-work;• Learning on tool of crowdsourcing, taking part in it; • Experience of work in editors’ with strickt rules;• Self-training;• Convergence of opportunities and knowledge; • Getting out offlime from online

In 4,5 months since 1 magazine was created, updated team launched the second one…
