ENSURE ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Why does it resonate for you?◦ I’ve always been passionate about the Earth and cleaning up the

environment. As a Boyscout, I learned at an early age the importance of preserving our natural resources and to “leave no trace”.

How can your interest be applied locally?◦Make sure to always recycle ◦Reduce usage of plastic and other materials that are harmful to the

environment◦Participate in local garbage/trash collecting activities

Where can you make the greatest contribution?◦ By inspiring others through social media to reduce waste and by setting an example

of how easy it is. ◦ If we each contribute little by little than our total results will be maximized ten-fold.

Is there a feature of social media that can be uniquely applied to this goal?◦A goal like this can be spread through any social media platform. But for it

to catch on and reach “trending” status which would make it viewable by millions of people it would have to be targeted at a certain age group.
