Our short film –Going Home

Equipment, props and costumes.

Canon Digital SLR camera.

We used this camera when

taking the photographs for our stop frame

animation film as the quality of the

photographs needed to be very

high.

Toy dog.We used a

plastic toy dog as the main

subject of our film.

House.The location of our film was inside a house

as the film would not be affected by weather conditions.

Shoes.During the film the toy dog goes on a journey in and out of a pair of shoes.

Toy car.This is used when the toy dog travels around

the house.

Kitchen sink.Another part of the toy dog’s journey involves a

kitchen sink.

Casual Clothing.Our only human

character (Sophie) was wearing casual clothing

as not to look out of place when pottering through the house.

Bin.The use of a bin was necessary because we needed to show that the toy dog had been

thrown out.

Red head lights.The use of the red heads was imperative as they created a

good light source and allowed us to avoid any

unwanted shadows.
