EuroCRIS Action Plan –Putting One Step Forward EuroCRIS Work Group (EWG) will serve

as the “executive” arm of the group. A Planning Group will investigate issues of

“identity” and “structure”. Task Groups might be charged, in the

future, with service-oriented responsibilities.

Our ranks should be bolstered.

– Permanent– 3 members

• Chair– Sets strategy, offers guidance, inspires motivation, engages

in PR and marketing, represents EuroCRIS at appropriate meetings, fosters relationships with global CRIS actors, seeks support for activities, and organizes events for the membership, monitors Task Groups

• Secretary– Oversees membership issues, maintains documentation,

tracks action items, maintains website and organizational databases (internal and publicly-accessible)

• Treasurer– Sets out a sound financial plan, maintains bookkeeping, and

prepares necessary documentation for fundraising and reporting functions
