EH 2.7.2 OSTRILOPE CHANGES OVER TIME

We learned in previous lessons that different species can share structures because they have a common ancestor population. We also learned that when this ancestor population is separated into different environments, natural selection can occur and cause there to be differences in the shared structures of the descendant species. Over very long periods of time, these structures can become very different.

Read the instructions for the Sim activity, discuss and write predictions before beginning. One partner will be partner A and the other will be Partner B.Students should discuss their predictions with their partner.
