Aggression Mystery/AmbiguityTeenage Angst/ Rebellion

Theme One: Aggression-The aggressive themes seen throughout the video and our ancillary tasks are shows here, the various violent actions as well as the mise en scene in the poster helps connote aggression

Theme Two: Mystery/Ambiguity-Throughout the project we promoted a theme of ambiguity that ran throughout all of our products. This was inspired by similar artists such as ‘The XX’ as some examples of ambiguous themes are shown below

Theme Three: Rebellion -Another reoccurring theme that runs throughout all three of our tasks is teenage angst and rebellion. The narrative that runs through the video is of the main character breaking into, and disrupting a derelict factory, as well as an abandoned church. The theme of teenage rebellion appeals to our young target audience and is a common theme within the alt-electro genre.
