all Rhodes students)

Bonner Programming Intern● Fall and Spring calendars● Securing guest speakers● Reminders to students regarding

meetings● Advises students on facilitating dialogue● Fall and Spring retreat content● End of semester surveys

Bonner Partnerships Intern● Met with 15-20 partners over summer to

assess needs, complete Capacity Building form, develop position descriptions

● Maintains regular communication with partners during semester

● Checks in with student site leaders● Assists with work study and AmeriCorps

programs

How do we do this?• All students work in the office during the summer

(Local Summer Service funding)• Staff retreat before each semester to discuss big ideas

(and do something fun!)• Each intern went through CLA process to discuss

professional development opportunities• Weekly staff meeting

– Visible agenda• Working on training for students

– Next summer will read parts of Barbara Jacoby’s Service Learning Essentials
