EARLY & LATER LIFEHe chose his pet name after the Czech poet Jan

Neruda . In 1971 Neruda won the Noble Prize for Literature.

COMMUNIST REVOLUTIONARY leader LUIS CARLOS PABLO NERUDA was the pen name
