Ramblings of a Retired Mind I was thinking about how a status
symbol o today is those cellphones that everyone has clippedonto their belt or purse. I cantafford one. So, Im wearing mygarage door opener. I also made
a cover or my hearing aid andnow I have what they call blue teeth, I think.
You know, I spent a ortune on deodorant beore Irealized that people didnt like me anyway.
I was thinking that women should put pictures omissing husbands on beer cans!
I was thinking about old age and decided that old age iswhen you still have something on the ball, but you are
just too tired to bounce it.
I thought about making a fitness movie or olks myage, and call it Pumping Rust.
Ive gotten that dreaded urniture disease. Tats whenyour chest is alling into your drawers!
When people see a cats litter box, they always say, Oh,have you got a cat? Just once I want to say, No, its orcompany!
Employment application blanks always ask who is tobe notified in case o an emergency. I think you shouldwrite, A Good Doctor!
I was thinking about how people seem to read the Biblea whole lot more as they get older. Ten, it dawned onme Tey were cramming or their finals. As or me, Im
just hoping God grades on the curve.

Heres a little update about the Fund raiser orMCPA (Montana Community Preservation Alliance)on uesday, February 25th starting at 6:00 p.m. at theLucky Bullet Hole in Malta.
Were hoping to make it a un time and hope youcan make it. Besides the homemade soup supper withbread sticks and dessert with a ree will offering, therewill be a 50/50 drawing, a Ropes by Suzie clock givenand everyone attending will be signed up or a chanceto win a beautiul handmade aghan just by being there!
Well be sharing inormation about the inormationrevolution. Were planning to get to hear an update romRon Poertner and Matt Knox living in the MissouriRiver monument area as well as some other updatedinormation o action were in the process o. Some o the home made soups that will be availablewill be:
Vicki Hoeldts Bee Barley Conni Frenchs Chicken Noodle Doreene Dales Knepfle (which has dumplings
in it..yum) Jamie Ulrichs Potato Soup Nancy Ereauxs Italian bee
erri Robinson will be bringing resh baked breadsticks and aylor Yuzwa and Suzie Oxarart are amongthose bringing desserts. It should be a super good soupsupper! Remember the unds will go to a good cause tohelp pay or more promotional items like bumperstickers, yard signs and regular signs as we are nearlyout o all our No Monument and no ree-roamingbuffalo items. I we make enough money, we would liketo host a coordination workshop in Malta. Im not surehow amiliar you are with the coordination topic, butthat is a way we orce government entities to includearea people in their planning processes. It also showsthe power that county commissioners and the countysheriff have i they are inormed and know how toutilize it. Super important...
I you are unable to attend the soup supper und-raiser but would like to make a donation but, please eelree to send it to MCPA at the address below: Nancy Ereaux - Secretary Montana Community Preservat ion Alliance P.O. Box 1015 Malta, MT 59538

Were hoping toexpand on that, says Sam,I believe we have a saucethat can compete withanyones.
Customers that havebeen enjoying ribs at
Eugenes on a regular basisor years woud attest tothat. So, will it slowdown the rib business atEugenes? I dont think so, Jeffsays, explaining that thecooking process o theiroh-so-tender ribs is alsoone o their little secretspecialties.
Now, i I gave youthat recipe, it might cutinto our business orawhile, he said with agrin. A 16-ounce bottle oSam & Jeffs sauce runs$5.25. From BS Centralsacebook page yesterday:
