A simple normal distribution problem like we did on Monday (Feb 1)
Using normality of the sampling distribution of sample means to calculate probabilities. I made a notational error on the board: should have X-bar minus mu-sub-X-bar in the numerator of z, not mu-sub-X-bar minus mu.
Another example
Again, I made the same notational error on the board in finishing the example.
Using the normal distribution to approximate the binomial distribution for problems where n is relatively large.
