A well-publicized and well-attended 2 weeks TEFL workshop-5663 was held from July16 to 27,2013 in a hotel organized by AIOU, Bahawalpur. The workshop was attended by 70 students from Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar and Bahawalpur Region. The Resource Persons were from The IUB & Sadiq Public School. All the sessions were addressed by the renowned scholars, followed by lively question & answer technique. The concluding session was attended by AIOU Personnel, invited guests from several think tanks, learned bodies and media officials.

Addressing to the Concluding Session as a Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Mamuna Ghani shared her impression about the workshop and appreciated the strenuous efforts of the workshop Co-ordinator Prof.

M. Safdar Bhatti for making the workshop highly successful in terms of achieving its objectives.

The

event ended with an interactive discussion session held by Prof. Safdar. Bhatti based on ELT which was highly appreciated by the audience and the participants desired that such workshops should be held more frequently. The workshop

proceedings were also widely reported in the media.
