Note : 1. India also has about 10% of World Installed Capacity of Wind. 2. Out of this, Tamil Nadu has 40 %. Still we have Power problem. Why ? 3. It is simple. These Wind Mills work for just 3 to 4 months and that too at 50% capacity ! Over all Plant Load Factor is just 18 % compared to 70-80 % for Coal / Nuclear plants. 4. If Tamil Nadu has invested the Rs.51,000 cr spent on Wind Mills in the past 10 years in Coal / Nuclear, we could have installed 6000 MW of Coal / Nuclear and we would not be having power cut at all !

Germany hopes to do this and still maintain its economy going without affecting the standard of living of its people ! 3. Can India do the same and improve the Standard of living of its people ? For India, even the benefit of Solar Peak matching with Grid Peak Demand is not available !
