Eligibility

All Athletes must be in classroom attendance a minimum 85% of the Previous 90-day Semester

No athlete shall miss more than 13 ½ days in the previous 90-day semester

This includes all absences (Excused or Unexcused)

Eligibility

If school is on an A/B Day Format of “BLOCK” scheduling, a student must pass six (6) out of eight (8) courses during what traditionally referred to as a semester

No work previously passed by a student submitted as part of a minimum load

Academics NCHSAA POLICY

Eligibility Athlete must maintain a 2.0 QPA at the

end of each Quarter Any Athlete that does not meet the 2.0

QPA Policy will enter the Academic Support Tutoring Program (ASTP)

Any Athlete who enrolls in the ASTP must submit their weekly hour log by noon on each Friday to the Athletic Directors Office

Academics WSFCS POLICY

NCHSAA Regulations

No student may be eligible to participate at the high school level for a period lasting longer than eight (8) consecutive semesters, beginning with the student’s first entry into ninth grade or an over-aged seventh or eight grade student’s participation on a high school team, whichever occurs first.

No student may be approved for athletic contest if his/her 19th birthday comes on or before Aug. 31st 2013; i.e., the date of birth was on or before Aug. 31st 1994.
