• 1.2 Billion People live in Urban Slums. It is expected this will be 2.0 billion people in 10 years time.

• More than 400 million of these people are actively employed but lack decent housing

• Melding a micro mortgage program with affordable home ownership

• To promote property rights, homeownership, economic development, women’s rights & best practices

• To be an independent, self sustaining not-for-profit NGO

• Create the financial framework for the distribution of low-income housing mortgages.

• Coordinate with local banks in the financial system

Information we need from Eastern European Countries:

1) What are the construction costs per square meter;2)  What are the infrastructure costs;3)  What are the land costs (costs per square meter);

4)  If the local government (city) is able and willing to donate the land for our initiative (or if the land is available against a very low cost price);

5)  The idea is also to renovate old buildings. Are there local any old buildings which are suitable for these renovation plans?6)   If the region/city is suitable for our plans, can you provide us with the average salary of its residents;7) For a mortgage of € 12.000,-- the purchaser needs a family monthly income of € 400,-- depending on the interest rate and amortization

8)  Are local residents / families able to receive a title for the land after purchasing a house;9)  What are the local taxes;10) Is there a local bank available with

international connections that is able and willing to help us with mortgages? The local bank needs for finance 20% of the loans and is responsible for the collection of interest and amortization

11) Will the local government / city help its residents with grants and / or interest rebates?
