We discussed the meeting agenda and the partner schools reported on their project work so far. Besides, we have agreed methods of communication among the partners and we have agreed the meeting standards.Parners were acquainted with the job description for a whole week and were handed over to the itinerary of their activities.
Monday 20th April
We visited the city hall and met city officials – the mayor, deputy mayor etc. We were warmly welcomed and then the main points of our project were presented. After that all participants moved to the grammar school.
First, visiting of the school was prepared for participants and then in front of Czech students and teachers each participant group presented their schools and organisations.
The afternoon program was filled with theatrical performances of KVARTA students under the guidance of our English teacher Petr Kadlec. Aproximately an hour presentation was of course in English language and all participants enjoyed it.
After the amazing performance we had to start working. Our Spanish friends had prepared a course on Moodle platform for us.The several-hour course was perfectly mastered and all the participants appreciated how wonderful and sophisticated training events for our friends were introduced.
In the evening, our student project team prepared a programme for foreign students. Each of our five students was in charge of a group of 5 students so that each group had only one representative from each country. The programme for every group was different and was aimed at getting acquainted with our country, landscapes, traditions and the students themselves.
Later in the evening there was a cultural liner prepared in the form of traditional Moravian cimbalon music for our friends. A five-piece band called "Podluží" led by our eighteen-year-old secondary school student performed a memorable musical experience.
