How will PSLE scores be calculated?

• Raw mark for each subject is converted to a transformed score (T-score)

• The Aggregate Score is the sum of the pupil’s T-score in all subjects

– Each subject carries equal weighting

School Vision: Engaged Learners, Caring Leaders 15

The PSLE final score takes into account :

• Content and demand of each subject

• Number of subjects offered in standard or foundation

How will PSLE scores be

calculated?

School Vision: Engaged Learners, Caring Leaders 16

Why is this so?

• PSLE Aggregate scores are needed for Secondary School Posting

• Allocation of pupils into Special/Express, Normal (Academic) or Normal (Technical) course
