BASIC MARKETING EXPLAINED BY A PROFESSOR TO HIS MBA CLASS

• You see a gorgeous girl at a party, you go to her and say” I am rich marry me- That’s Direct Marketing

• You are at that same party & your friend goes up to a girl , points at you telling her. He is very rich,

marry him -That’s Advertising

• Girl walks up to you and says “Your are rich, Can you marry me?” That’s brand recognition

• You approach the girl and say “I’m very rich, Marry Me” She slaps you. That’s customer

feedback

• You say I’m rich, marry me, then she introduces you to her husband. That’s Demand & Supply Gap

• Before you say I’m rich, marry me, you wife arrives. That’s Restriction from entering a New Market
