SUBSTANCES RECEIVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF HEAT BECAUSE THEY ARE HEATED WITH THE SAME BURNER

THEIR RESPONSE TO THE ABSORTION OF HEAT IS DIFFERENT.

ONE) IS ALWAYS AT A HIGHER TEMPERATURE

BEING DIFFERENT SUBSTANCES THEY HAVE DIFFERENT PROPERTIES.

HEAT CAPACITY: IS A PROPERTY OF SUBSTANCES THAT MEASURES THE ABSORTION OF HEAT AND THE CONSEQUENT INCREASE OF TEMPERATURE.

DIFFERENT SUBSTANCES WILL HAVE DIFFERENT HEAT CAPACITIES.

DEFINITION: HEAT CAPACITY IS THE AMOUNT OF HEAT REQUIRED FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF
