DESCRIPTION

This presentation provides an update to a previous meeting regarding potential solutions to relieve neighborhood flooding and sanitary sewer issues in an area of Philadelphia that is served by a private sewer. This was delivered in a face to face meeting with residents in the vicinity of Spring Lane and Hendren Street on February 20th, 2014, at the Andorra Library.

1. Proposed pump station location – Easement along Girl Scout Property

2. Sewer Connections made at time of project completion

3. Sewer fee charges start once property is connected to the system

4. If presented “street design” approach is accepted, trees, fences, etc. do not need to be removed. May need to temporarily remove some fencing then put back.

5. Spring Lane walking path – will work with Streets Dept. for best material
