Progress of RCARO

• 1997 (MYA NRM) Need for RCA Regional Office in the region recommended

• 2000 (IND NRM) ROK offered to host RCARO when established in Korea

• 2001 (BGD NRM) Establishment of RCARO in Korea agreed

• 2002 (ROK NRM) Opening of RCARO in Korea for interim operation of 3 years to prepare necessary legal measures

• 2003. 9 RCA GCM adopted Resolution on Establishment of RCARO
