with a CV, but can tell if a CV is good by look after 5-10

seconds… First impression counts!

On average a recruiter scans 40-60 CVs per position

and selects maximum 8-10 to go on with… your CV

Always list your contact information (phone number, e-

mail address)

Professional file name (e.g. name_CV)

Maximum two-page CV

Include also the months not just the years!

Accurate level of your language knowledge

Regarding your active student status mark the month as

well, not only the year

Clear, well-structured and to the point CV

Highlight those competencies and personal

characteristics that you truly possess and are relevant to

the position

Keep track where and what position you applied for

Don’ts:

! Private life, full body photo or selfie

! False information, exaggerations

! Bright colours, over decoration
