How to Use Elluminate Part 1:Accessing Your Virtual Classroom

Go to your email and find your elluminate links

Click on the first link (the instructor link)

This should download the file metting.jnlp

if your computer asks you to keep or discard the file,

keep it.

find the downloaded file.it should be in your downloads folder

open it

a security warning may openchose “allow access”

a warning message will pop upclick “Run”

the application will soon start

it may ask to select your connection speed.select Cable/DSL

this should start the program

if it doesn’t start you probably don’t have the required plugin.

If this is the case,Go to:

http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

to download the plugin.

once the program opens a message appears asking you to record the session.

Click start.

Your Virtual Classroom is now in session.
