Open your browser
Go www.hootsuite.com
Welcome to Hootsuite log-
in page
Click Sign Up
You have options for your
plan
For now, let’s start with free
plan
Click Get Started Now
You can sign up using your
social media account
Or by your email address
Enter your Name
Enter your Email
Create a Password
Take note rules for creating
password
You can change your
profile picture
Click Create My Free
Account
For free account, connect
up to 3 social profiles
Click one of the icons to
start
Or click Go to Dashboard

Click I want to explore on
my own

Point your mouse to your
profile picture
Click your name to share your
social media accounts
Click Add a social network
You can add from the list of
social networks
If you have Twitter, click
Connect with Twitter
See how Hootsuite access

Enter your Twitter Username
or email
Enter your Password
Click Authorize app
Your Twitter account has
been added
You will also see it in the
upper left panel
Click button to add your
other social network
Let’s say you want to add
your Instagram account
Click Connect with
Enter your Username
Enter your Password
Click Log In

Click Authorize
You can skip this process
and do it later

Add other account, let’s
say Facebook
Click Connect with Facebook
Enter your Email
Enter your Password
Click Log In

Let’s put in public and click

profiles to be added

To schedule a post, click
Publisher
Hover the mouse on the list
of accounts
Click the pin to select account
Let’s send to all accounts
Write your message on the
space provided
Take note the maximum
words per network
Attach picture or video for
Click Upload to attach video
Drag your photo to attach
photo
Or click choose files to
upload
Select the photo
Click Open
Your uploaded photo
Click calendar icon to
schedule the message
Select the date
Select the time
You could also add link to
your message
As well as your location
Tick the box for email
notification
Click Schedule
You have a successful
broadcast!
Hootsuite works only on
Instagram mobile app
Click Setup publishing now
to setup app
Enter your mobile number
Click Send
You will receive SMS for
app installation
Click the link
Install app to view your
message
You can still edit message
prior to broadcast
Click the calendar to
change date and time
Click the pencil icon to edit
