ASHLAND HIGH SCHOOL HOMEWORK SURVEY Your Advisory will be given time during TCB to conduct this important survey. If you would like to access the survey from home you may do so at any time. Then, you would NOT need to do it during TCB. To access the survey, go to this link:http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZF8Y6YNThe survey is also posted on Principal Zundel’s Facebook page. Parents received an email with a separate survey to complete.
What I have learned about gathering student data:
• Some information from surveys is invaluable.• A Personal connection with a student is precious and meaningful.
That connection also generates more ‘data.’(I am biased in that I believe this to be one of the most important resources for helping our students).• Homeless youth, emotional health issues, physical issues,
family issues, etc.• Utilizing data tools (ie. Powerschool) requires professional
development time.• Academic data is another resource for helping our students
– success and/or failure. • Data is meaningless unless you do something with the
information.
