political settlement: Nuklutoshisociety which is in shamblestoday.”“Our economy is in a statusof misery and tens ofthousands of h ighlyeducated, competent Nagayouths are unemployed. Theyare restless and of tendirectionless like a boattossing on a stormy sea. Emptystomachs lead to insatiablehunger which in turn leads todeep anger and resentment,”he said. As such, looking atthe present scenario of theNaga society, their Naganational workers must ponderover it and go for the “politicalsettlement without furtherdelay.”At the same time, the Naganational workers must realizethat whatever they hadachieved “at this juncture intheir lifetime, will beappreciated andacknowledged by the Nagas, especially the upcominggeneration who understandsand sincerely wants ournational workers to retirehonorably with the politicalsettlement that is being offerednow by the Government ofIndia,” he added.Nuklutoshi believed that thenew generation knew theirnational workers had “nevercompromised on sovereigntyat any given time or situationwhatsoever.” And “comewhat may, no generation ofNaga people will ever give upour right to be sovereign as itis God-given (one),” he said.
