THE 2015 AIMCAL AWARD WINNING PACKS

As reported in our last issue, UFLEX has won three prestigious AIMCAL Awards in this year’s annual competition. The awards were announced and handed over during AIMCAL’s Annual Meeting held in March 2015.

The award winning packs were:

Pratistha,aRewardandRecognitionprogrammerunningacrossallUFLEXdivisions,waslaunchedlastyear.tocreateaCompany-wideR&Rplatform.

Thefirstfelicitationceremonyforwinnerswasconductedonthe10thofApril2015.FivewinnerswerefelicitatedundertheLIVE(Leadership+Initiative+Values+Enterprise)andSTAR(SpecialThanksandRecognition)Categoriesof thePratishthsprogramme.TheLIVEawardispresentedtorecognisetheaccomplishmentsofteamleadersonadaytodaybasis.Thisrewardismeantfortheoutstandingteamleaderswhohaveperformedwellondefinedparameters.TheSTARawardisintheindividualexcellencecategorytorecogniseandapplaudthe‘Top3’employeesacrosstheorganisationwhohavemadeexemplarycontributiontothebusinessinthequarterwhiledemonstratingoutstandingcompetences.

Thewinnerswerechosenfromamong22nominationsafterlongdeliberationandevaluationbytheR&Rcommittee.TheR&RcommitteehasasitcoremembersMr.R.K.Jain(GroupPresidentF&A)andMr.ChandanChattaraj(ExecutiveJointPresident-GlobalHR)andforeachselectionmeetingtwobusinessleadersarechosenfromthebusinesseswhofurtheractasrotationalcommitteemembers.

two-dayworkshopatNoidaonthe2nd&3rdApril2015.TheworkshopwasfacilitatedbyMr.R.VenkateshIyerand

Ms.ShubhraBhattacharyafromVyaktitva.TheobjectivewastocreateasharedVisionandMission,understandthe

currentrealityofthebusinessandcreatearoadmapandkeyprioritiesforthedepartmentstoachievetheVisionof

thebusiness.

TheexercisealsoprovidedalistofthebehaviourcommandmentsneededtoachievetheVisionandalsocreateda

governancestructuretomanagetheongoingjourney.

Thebasicobjectivesofconductingsuchexerciseare:

• Torevieworganisation,resources,challenges,opportunitiesandconstraints,toundertakeaSWOTanalysisand

toorganiseplansandideastomaximisebenefitstotheorganization.

• TobrainstormonOrganisational,LeadershipandPeoplechallengesandtocreateplansaroundthattocreate

clearcutfuturereadyorganisationwithaclearlineofsight

Post theVisioningExercise, a structured plan for unveiling and cascading the visioning statement is prepared to

ensurethateverybodysharesandisalignedtotheVision,Missionandteamchartercommandmentsofthebusiness.

Astructuredgovernanceprocessisputinplacetoachievethevisionbycreatingandimplementingclearroadmaps

towards the goal.
