History Founded in 2015. ISARA Corporation is a security solutions company that offers solution providers quantum

computer-resistant products to make vulnerable hardware and software compliant with quantum safe standards.

ISARA is affiliated with the rich academic and research ecosystem of Quantum Valley, a high-tech hub in Waterloo,

Ontario. It is headquartered at the Quantum Valley Investments building in Waterloo.

Mission Quantum computers that can break public-key cryptography are poised to disrupt the aging security

standards that most of the world relies on. ISARA is part of a collaborative effort with academic and standards

institutions to raise awareness of the potential for quantum threats, and design and implement quantum resistant

solutions that will work globally. The ISARA Corporation vision is a world where consumers, enterprises and

governments can benefit from the power of quantum computing with protection against quantum attacks.

Products ISARA is readying commercial solutions that can protect computers, mobile devices, IOT sensors and

networks against attacks from quantum computers capable of breaking public-key cryptography. The product

roadmap includes new cryptographic solutions that will allow customers to make their conventional computer

systems quantum safe now, and as quantum technology progresses in the future. ISARA has released the ISARA

Radiate Security Solution Suite for developers to allow a wide variety of quantum resistant solutions to be built and

brought to market.

Company ISARA is a startup with 27 employees, many with years of experience in technology companies, including

BlackBerry, Certicom, Oracle, and McAfee, and academic and research institutions, including the Institute for

Quantum Computing (IQC) and the Perimeter Institute. The ISARA team has expertise building high performance

cryptographic systems for constrained environments.

Executive Leadership CEO Scott Totzke and CTO Mike Brown are veterans of BlackBerry’s security organization

that guided its product security lifecycle, regulatory compliance, lawful access and privacy strategies globally. COO

Mark Pecen is also chairman and founder of the European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) industry

standardization Working Group for Quantum Safe Cryptography (WG-QSC), specializing in next-generation security,

and is a board member and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at IQC. He invented a number of technologies that have

been adopted in global wireless standards (GSM, UMTS, HSPA+, LTE for 4G wireless, and others).
