MY VILLAGEI live in a little village of Madrid, its called

Alpedrete and I go to the high school “ IES Alpedrete”

THE CITY OF MADRIDThe city of Madrid is the capital of Spain

and it has around 3 165 235 residents

MUSEUMS OF MADRIDMadrid has got a lot of museums, the most

famous museums are “Reina Sofía” and the “Prado’s Museum”.

But Madrid has also another important museums like The Thyssen Museum, The National Science Museum, etc.

MONUMENTS OF MADRIDMadrid has got a very long variety of

monuments like:

The Triumphal

Arch

The Debod Temple

The Major Square

SPORTS IN MADRID In the sports Madrid are represented in

football for Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid and in basketball for Real Madrid.

MADRID AND THE WATERThe Manzanares river cross the city. The

water is also present in lakes, like the Retiro’s lake.

THE FOUNTAINSWhen the teams of Madrid win a coup of

the league or European league, they go to celebrate it to an specially fountain, it depends of the team.

NATURE PLACES IN MADRIDMadrid has got a very famous parks where

there are a lot of threes, plants, animals, etc. in the centre of the city. Like the Retiro´s Park, the Botanic Garden and the Country House.

MADRID CULTURALIn the city there are a lot of spectacles like

concerts, cinema, theatre,...
