About the school

J. E.B Stuart High School was founded in 1955 as a public school within Fairfax County Public Schools. It was named after the famous confederate cavalry leader J. E. B. Stuart and was given the «Raiders» as their team mascot with colors of red, white and blue. In 2004, President George W. Bush chose Stuart as a place to speak about education.
