The First Meeting in Amman has by all means not only succeeded in meeting but exceeding expectations.
Meeting face to face after all these months of virtual and teleconferences was indeed a thrill that has served as a fertile catalyst for more and more topics calling for immediate action on the agenda.
Our dear participants from the United States were foundational to the growth of our project were most adamant to sharing and solidly contributing to the success of the meeting by being an important milestone.
Later we had a follow – up meeting with Mr. Kareem Kawar to ensure alignment and further develop our action plan.
In this document we will portray the most important points discussed and consolidated.

Introduction: Jordan Brain Gain
The Jordan Brain Gain is a network of
Jordanian Movers and Shakers across all industries, who either work outside or inside Jordan.
The whole network has been developed by Mr. Karim Kawar as a group on Linked in "The Jordan Brain Gain"
The group's activity has bean extremely dynamic and result oriented.
Under The Title of "The Jordan Edge" members from Jordan, The Silicon Valley, Gulf, and all over the world have been developing The Jordan Edge Project, through several teleconferences and correspondences.

Main Achievements Prior the Meeting
• Growth of Members: 630 members today
• Networking: Members have been networking and connecting with each other and the synergy has been extrapolating
• Group Management: Group Manager Network has expanded qualitatively (very active , committed and responsible) and quantitatively (increased in number)

• Teleconferences: we have had 4 successful teleconferences with members of our network all over the world, sub conferences and meetings, and on going communication via postings e-mails and other communication channels
• High Level Result Oriented Activity: Have succeeded to identify, zoom in, develop solutions and action plans for major areas discussed
• Tackling important concerns: Major issues have been discussed among members and have lead to being featured items on meeting agendas leading to further analysis, later transformed to action plans.

General Update : Jordan Brain Gain Status, World Economic Crisis, Jordanian Brains Moving back to Jordan, Jordan’s Current Business situation.
Strategic Plan: To develop further the Purpose, Vision and Mission of the Group. We agreed that we can start developing this as an exercise to with the Managers via e-mail, to ensure everyone’s input is taken into consideration.
Main Purpose: To include but not to be limited to, developing a strong Network of Jordanian Brains in and outside Jordan that contributes tangibly to the development of each of the members individually, to the network itself holistically, and To Jordan Ultimately.

Since The Human Element has been so far asserted to be The Number One Jordan Edge, immediate focus is needed. • There is no Human
Resources Association, • More Alignment is required
for already existing efforts • Main concerns were
aroused concerning how funded projects might be so improperly used to harness and develop our Human Assets.

Jordan, enriching and exploiting that
has to become a priority.
