Liturgical Roles
Martha’s anxiety is what sepa-rates her from Jesus, but she too will learn to pray. Mary and Martha teach us to pray! Relieve all your anxieties in an hour spent before the Lord Wednesday 9 AM to 10 PM or Friday 9 AM to 6 PM.
“…I am a minister in accordance with God’s stewardship given to me to bring to completion for you the word of God.” -Col,1:25
We are all called to evangelize – to continuously grow in our relationship with Jesus and to share it with others. We may not be called to evangelize like St. Paul, but we should look for opportunities to share our faith with those closest to us, like our family, friends and neighbors. Pray for the courage to share your faith the next time the opportunity arises.

Your Gifts to God and Parish Serve at the Food Kitchen
Help the youth of St. Ann who will be participating in the Mission Trip (July 29-31). As part of their adventures they need cereal to deliver to Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas. Donate a box or two and place in the lower level gathering space in designated Cereal Area.
St. Ann serves every 4th Mon-day of the month and consist-ently serves more than any other organization volunteer-ing at the food kitchen. Last month we served 351 guests! Our next opportunity to serve our hungry guests at the food kitchen in Kansas City, Kansas is Monday, July 22nd. We need boneless hams (they will be sliced at the food kitchen), as well as au gratin potatoes (3 boxes to a pan), and fresh and canned fruit. Your donations of these items would be greatly appreciated, as would your offer to come and help serve! Why not bring your teenagers to help? Bring donations to the north parking lot between 8:30 and 10 am on Monday. If you have questions, or need a ride, please call Rosie Bohan at 913-722-5109.
