Phoenix Clinic aims at provid-ing a therapeutic, restorative and supportiveenvironment for traumatized chil-dren, familymembers and therapists. With this goal in mind we adopted some basic design strategies.
• Spaces at residential scale• Residential exterior and arrange-ments• Vegetation as buffer
Designing elements for appropri-ate to both 3-to 18-year-old children and adults is always a challenge. We hence focused on propmoting personal interaction, Blending indoor and outdoor spacesand maximizing the natural light into the spaces.
• Consider sustainability in mate-rials and theorganization of spaces and also future expansion• Provide easy access to the facility from nearby
The materials used are all user friendly and selected considering the safety of kids. The colors used are all pastol colors to which kids are always attracted.
Creating innovative and imagi-native indoor/outdoor places for children and providing experien-tial learning/healing opportunities are prime aspects of the landscape design.

LANDSCAPE SELECTIONThe material palette that we have selected has all vernacular materi-als easily available in and around the site.the tones and colours of these ma-terials are earthy and homely. The finishes of these that we plan to use are not only rustic in look but also safe for children to use.
The plant selection for this proj-ect covers a wide variety of native plants. As these are all native trees, they will thrive well in the soil type on the the site.
The selected trees and shrubs have varied types of canopy shapes and coverage which makes the overall look of landscape vibrant and cap-turing and yet keeping it similar to the characted of the site.

LANDSCAPE SELECTION
Work Experience(2013-2016)
1. BOX OUT OF THE BOXSet amidst a serene environment, this 1200sq.ft farmhouse was a challenge for us to least disturb the fragile soil strata and the beautiful site rich with flora. The entire fabricated structure imposes the least load on the soil. The landscape proposed blends together the built and unbuilt.
